How to Book an Appointment?

Once we’ve confirmed your appointment, you can download our patient intake forms via the button below. If you are able to fill out the forms before your appointment and email them to us or bring them with you, it will save time at the start of your appointment. If you are unable to do so online prior to your appointment, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork in person.

What to Expect on Your First Visit?

We schedule 1½ hours for your first visit so we can review your medical history, evaluate your health and provide your first treatment. At the end of this session, we will create a treatment plan appropriate for your situation. This may include herbal prescriptions, lifestyle guidance and dietary modifications along with the schedule of treatments you will need to get long-lasting results.

What to Expect After a Treatment Session?

Many people generally experience a very relaxed sensation and often feel refreshed and revitalized as if waking up from a good night’s sleep.

Occasionally some patients experience minor side effects such as light bruising, sleepiness or residual muscle aches. These only last for a short time and staying hydrated after treatment will minimize any effects.

Follow Up Treatments?

Each patient is unique. The number and frequency of treatments will vary from patient to patient. Some symptoms are relieved after the first treatment, while others may take five to ten treatments.

Typically, conditions that have persisted for some time will take longer to respond, while acute conditions may resolve within one or two treatments. While a specific problem is being worked on, you may visit your acupuncturist once or twice a week, and gradually reduce the frequency to once or twice a month.

To maintain good health, you may wish to receive treatments once every season or four times a year.

Payment Methods

Insurance:
We do accept most major insurance carriers. However, not all insurance plans are created equal and not all carriers and plans will provide coverage. Please check with your insurance provider to arrival regarding whether or not your insurance will be accepted.

Cash and Major Credit Cards:
If your insurance does not cover treatment, or you do not have or wish to use insurance, we also accept cash and credit card payments for services. Additionally, we sell treatment packages for patients interested in purchasing multiple treatments and gift certificates.
